Chocolate Milk Comes from Brown Cows

I’ve gotten a lot of cool responses regarding my recent experiences with JetBlue (here and here), but the coolest response I got was:

He says you definitely have a knack for getting people involved.  I told him that you could make people believe chocolate milk comes from brown cows.

That’s officially the coolest thing anyone has ever said about me. I’m honored that I could help some folks and and make a small difference!

Hi Andrew. I received a credit for that flight and a voucher for a future flight within the year for about $350 I think. I am satisfied. They screwed up, they paid for their error, and life is too good to get muddled down in a fight for a few extra $$$Also thank you again for all your efforts. I am sure you effected their decision.

Ray and I are flying home tonight and will ‘add up’ the half dozen plus emails we received from JB. I am fairly certain JB gave us the vouchers indicated, we just haven’t had any time to pay much attention. If there is a problem, we’ll contact JB directly. You have already gone above and beyond.

Resolved! Finally got a hold of the right person who was willing to get to the bottom of things. Your ticket was very helpful in proving that others were getting more than $50. Apparently Jet Blue’s social media folks were behind us receiving the increased voucher/refund. Wouldn’t have happened without you. Way to motivate and organize at 2AM.

Next time you’re near the Oakland hills I’ve got a beer in the fridge with your name on it.

Hello there Andrew- thanks a bunch for all of your efforts with this Jet Blue mess. We have both received a balance of $411 in our Jet Blue Account. I would say this is quite sufficient and we are both pleased with their attempts in making things right. Many thanks for helping out all of us fellow passengers.

Hi  Andrew,  I wanted you to know I thought I had not rec’d the voucher but when I called I was told if you have an true blue act then they auto put in to a credit bank for you. So I was wrong I did get a refund. but my husband did not because he did not have a true blue act. so because we called he now has it all cleared up.
Ps thinks for all the work you did on this. we really are grateful to you as I am sure all the others are as well.
